Super Indie Spotlight: Don’t Starve

What would you do if you awoke in the wilderness with nothing in your pockets to help you and without a clue as to how you got there and why? I’m guessing that most of us would freak out, quite understandably. But in such a situation you should probably strive to be a little more level-headed. Perhaps playing a game that simulates said scenario would be fitting.

Enter Klei Entertainment’s survival game, Don’t Starve. In this episode of the Super Indie Spotlight, I take a look at this wonderful gothic survival trek through the woods and meet a bunch of scary forms and attempt to chase and eat some hilarious turkeys. Ooh, that’s almost festive!

    Seems awesome. I like seeing that the game knows what it wants to be. It knows that Minecraft has better crafting and that Terraria has better combat. So being similar to them what does it do? It focuses on the surviving and which makes the game much more fun and unique. Also Josh, great review :)
